What this module supports
The Student CV module gives schools a dedicated workspace for turning student profile data into resume-style CV output without leaving Smart School. It sits beside core student management but uses its own filtered list, CV builder actions, download flow, and resume-specific settings.
Key capabilities
- open the Build CV workspace and launch CV editing per student from the roster
- use the Download CV workspace to export student CV PDFs directly
- filter student CV operations by search, class, and section before acting
- manage Resume Settings for portal resume availability and CV field visibility
- control which profile fields and extended resume sections appear in the generated document
UI surface in Smart School
The live Smart School UI currently exposes this module through three dedicated routes:
- Build CV
- Download CV
- Resume Settings
In the current UI, the build and download pages both use a student table with search, class filtering, section filtering, and row-level CV actions. The settings page controls whether portal users can download resumes and which identity, contact, guardian, and extended resume sections are included in the PDF output.

Important note
This module depends on the quality of the underlying student profile. If admissions, guardian, contact, and academic placement data are incomplete, the generated CV will also be incomplete. Portal-facing CV visibility is controlled from the resume settings surface, not from FrontCMS.
